Newark Liberty International Airport
Car Service to Newark Airport (EWR)
Newark Liberty is the closest major airport to Branchburg and the trip most of our clients book. Because EWR is in New Jersey, we handle both directions: a quiet ride to your terminal and a reliable pickup when you land.

From Branchburg and Somerset County to EWR
From Branchburg the drive is roughly 30 to 35 miles. The usual routes run east on I-78 or US-22 toward the airport, with I-287 feeding in from Bridgewater, Bedminster and Basking Ridge. Off-peak, that is a comfortable run; on weekday mornings and late afternoons the I-78 corridor slows down, so we build in extra time rather than racing the clock.
For most domestic departures we suggest a pickup about three hours before your flight from central Somerset County, and more for international flights or holiday weekends. When you request a quote, tell us your flight time and we will suggest a pickup time that fits it.
Terminal drop-off: A, B and C
Newark has three terminals. Terminal A is the newest, and Terminal C is the main hub for United. Airlines do move between terminals, so check your booking before the day. We will take you to the right departures curb and help with your bags.
Getting picked up at Newark
When you land at EWR, we work from your flight number, not a guess. We check your flight status before pickup and adjust for delays. Complimentary wait time after landing is 30 minutes for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights. We will agree in advance on where to meet so you are not wandering the terminal after a long flight.
What affects the cost of a Newark Airport car service
We do not publish a rate card, because every airport trip is a little different. The main factors are the distance from your pickup address, the time of day, tolls, any extra stops, and how long we wait at the airport for an arrival. Send your details and you will get a clear quote before you book.
Why book a private SUV instead of parking
Long-term parking, tolls and fuel add up on a week-long trip, and so does the shuttle back to your car at midnight. A chauffeured Suburban picks you up at your door, carries a family's worth of luggage, and drops you at the curb.
What to tell us before your Newark ride
The more we know ahead of time, the smoother the trip. When you request a quote, include:
- Your airline, flight number and departure or arrival time.
- Your terminal, if you know it. Terminal A, B or C makes a difference at the curb.
- How many passengers, and how many large suitcases and carry-ons.
- Anything oversized, such as golf bags, skis or a stroller.
- Your own approved child car seats, if you are traveling with young children. We do not provide them.
- A mobile number that will work on the day, especially if you are flying in from abroad.
For a round trip, send the return flight with the departure so both rides are on the calendar.
Leaving enough time, and finding each other on arrival
The drive is only part of the timing. Bag drop cutoffs, security lines and the walk to the gate all take time, and they vary by airline, terminal and season. Holiday periods and early mornings can be especially busy. Check your airline's guidance for bag drop, and treat any extra time at the gate as a bonus.
On arrival, a few habits help:
- Turn your phone on when you land and give us a quick call or text.
- Call or text again once you have your bags, so we can meet you at the agreed spot.
- If your flight is delayed or diverted, let us know as soon as you can.
Booking from your town
We regularly drive to Newark from Branchburg, Bridgewater, Somerville, Hillsborough and the rest of Somerset and Hunterdon County. Riding in our black Chevrolet Suburban, you have room to stretch out and space for your bags.
Newark car service FAQs
Do you pick up at Newark Airport as well as drop off?
Yes. EWR is in New Jersey, so we offer both drop-offs and pickups. Include your flight number when you request a quote.
How long is the ride from Branchburg to Newark Airport?
It is roughly 30 to 35 miles. Off-peak it is often under an hour; rush hour on I-78 and US-22 can add a lot more, so we plan conservatively.
Can you take a family with luggage?
The Suburban typically seats up to 6 passengers. If you have a lot of large suitcases, tell us the count so we can confirm it all fits.
What happens if my flight into Newark is delayed?
Let us know as soon as you see the delay and we will adjust the pickup. We check your flight status before pickup and adjust for delays, so having your flight number in the booking matters.
Can you pick me up at Newark if I flew out of a different airport?
Yes. If you flew out of JFK, LaGuardia or Philadelphia but return to Newark, we can pick you up at EWR.
Ready when you are.
Tell us where you are going and when. You will get a personal reply with a clear quote. Available early morning to late evening, by reservation.
